Control Modes
Manual Control mode
The KICKR RUN supports traditional treadmill manual speed and grade control using the multi-stage control paddles.
For more details, see Manual control mode [RUN].
RunFree mode
RunFree mode is a button-selected mode that allows you to run freely, naturally changing pace and stride without having to manually adjust the KICKR RUN's belt speed. The KICKR RUN will automatically change the belt speed to match your pace and stride changes, keeping you in the middle of the deck.
For more details, see RunFree mode [RUN].
Planned (structured) Workout mode
The KICKR RUN offers automatic belt speed and grade adjustments when used with structured running workouts with dynamic pace and grade targets in the Wahoo app.
For more details, see Planned workout mode [RUN].
Other features
Auto-leveling
The KICKR RUN will automatically level the deck horizontally at startup using the linear actuators used for grade changes to accommodate slightly uneven floors and prevent the it from shifting while in use.
Terrain mode
The KICKR RUN can be set to slightly adjust the horizontal camber of the deck intermittently to simulate the variability of an outdoor running surface and mitigate the repetitive motion fatigue of running on a treadmill.
For more details, see Terrain simulation mode [RUN].
