Account and Athlete Profile Settings
Biometric Profile
The identity and biometric data settings previously found in the Profile tab is found in the top tab of the Account page behind your name and email address.
Heart rate, Power, and Pace Zones
Heart rate zones
The heart rate zone settings previously found in the Profile tab are now found in the second section of the Account page under Settings. You can now create multiple heart rate zone sets, (allowing for distinct zone sets for cycling, running, and swimming) and assign each set to different Workout profiles. The heart rate zone data can now be auto-calculated from a Threshold Heart Rate (THR) value. The Half Monty fitness assessment in our SYSTM training platform is great way to calculate an accurate THR value.
The default heart rate zone set will reflect the zone values from the previous version of the Wahoo app. If creating a new account, the default zones set will be auto-calculated from biometric data (age).
For more information see HR, Power and Pace zones [Wahoo app]
Power zones
The power zone settings are found in the Profile tab. You can now create multiple power zone sets, (allowing for distinct zone sets for cycling and running) and assign each set to different Workout profiles.
Running Pace zones
Athlete profile
Rider type is found in the middle of the Profile page, by tapping on the snail card image. The Wahoo app now displays your 4DP Rider Type as identified by the Full Frontal fitness assessment in our SYSTM training platform.
For more information see Athlete Profile [Wahoo app]
App Settings
Workout profiles
Workout profiles are found in the third section of the Profile page under the Settings portion. Workout profile creation and customization is largely the same.
For more information see Workout Profiles [Wahoo app]
Authorized apps
Authorized or Connected apps can be found in the Profile tab in third section under the Settings options.
You can toggle on the ability to auto-email yourself your workout as a .FIT file upon workout completion.
At first open, any previously authorized services will need to be re-authorized. Once authorized, the service will show as authorized and note what functions that 3rd party app is able to provide in this app.
For more information see Authorized Apps [Wahoo app]
Notifications
Notifications are broken down into General (Important updates about your account, hardware, and app functionality) and Activities & workouts (Notifications related to completed workouts, ride uploads, and activity status).
Live Track
Live track settings will affect live tracking options on a connected ELEMNT computer.
Mental Recovery Preferences
Mental recovery preferences will allow you to toggle Binaural beats & Subliminal Priming in some mental recovery sessions, and toggle a Daily Mental Capacity push notification.
Workout Recommendations
Workout recommendations settings will allow you to toggle if these appear in the Today tab.

Sensor management
All sensor management has moved from the Settings page to the Devices tab. This tab will also pop up when you select the Record tab or can be accessed the Bluetooth button at the top of the Record page once a workout has been started.
The My devices list contains all sensors you have paired to the app, regardless of which workout profile you currently have selected. It will show their connection status (connecting, connected, or not found). In the Record screen, the Data Sources subscreen will show all available data types associated with that workout type, if/what data is being transmitted to the app currently, and which sensor is currently transmitting that data. Sensors can be added, will provide connection status and any data being transmitted here, and can be selected as the chosen data source from this page.
For more information see Sensor management [Wahoo app]
Recording a workout/activity
Recording a workout has been moved from the Workout page to the Record tab. The Sensors page and contextual Workout profile settings can be accessed from buttons in the top right corner. The desired workout profile can be selected using the button in the bottom left corner.
For more details see Record an activity (ride, run, workout) in the Wahoo app
Reviewing workout/activity history
The History and Statistics tabs have been combined into a single History tab that allows for filtering statistical data by time periods and workout profiles. Individual activity details now offer a richer experience of summary data with the ability to filter graph components by data type or period.
