Concept2

  • This bike will connect to the app and report power. The app cannot control the resistance on this trainer. Please note that when using Bluetooth, this bike will only report AVERAGE POWER to the app.  ANT+ connections are recommended for this trainer. 
  • If you're using the SYSTM app on Mac or Windows, you can choose to connect with ANT+ if you have an ANT+ USB dongle.  Bluetooth is not recommended for this trainer.
  • Using SYSTM on iOS or Android is not recommended for this trainer.
  • There are special considerations for connecting this bike.

  • The Echelon spin bikes use proprietary Bluetooth that is not compatible with the SYSTM app. You can use your trainer without connecting by following the instructions found here:

  • This trainer will connect using the InRide sensor that the unit is equipped with. Please ensure that your InRide sensor is a 3rd generation sensor. It should be green in color.   • If you're using the SYSTM app on Android, you will want to connect to your smart bike using Bluetooth.

Wattbike Pro

  • The Wattbike Pro will only be compatible with the SYSTM app using the Head unit B. If you have the A unit, you will need to order the B unit from Wattbike.
  • Be sure to update your Wattbike's firmware. 
  • To connect using Bluetooth: Ensure that your head unit supports Bluetooth. You should see the Bluetooth icon on the headunit. If you do not see the Bluetooth symbol, please see ANT+ connection instructions.
    1. Open the Wattbike Hub app on your device.
    2. Navigate to Settings screen on the Wattbike head unit.
    3. Tab to the Remote tab and ensure that Bluetooth is enabled.
    4. From the same screen, select Enable Bluetooth Programming Mode and then Enter. You will need to confirm this choice.
    5. From the Wattbike Hub app, select Just Ride and then, in the top right corner, select your Wattbike.
    6. When prompted, confirm activation of the head unit's Bluetooth. Select Yes.
    7. The Wattbike Hub app should confirm that the head unit is now connected. Select Activate.
    8. Close the Wattbike Hub App.
    9. On the Wattbike head unit, select Just Ride.
    10. Launch the SYSTM app and connect using the following instructions.
  • To connect using ANT+ (Mac and Windows only)
    1. This will require an ANT+ dongle (receiver) and a USB extension cable.
    2. From the Wattbike head unit, select ANT Channel. Set the Bike Power and Speed & Cadence channels to ON, and set the Wattbike to Standard.
    3. With your head unit on, start pedaling. This will allow the ANT+ signal to start broadcasting.
    4. Launch the SYSTM app and connect using the following instructions:
