Direct pairing Heart rate or Speed sensors
For direct pairing (heart rate or speed), if your KICKR HEADWIND stops responding to your sensor or trainer, try simply refreshing the connection by holding down the power button for 3 seconds while in the desired mode (SPD or HR) and keeping the sensor or trainer close by. This will pair the sensor or trainer again, resolving any previous issues caused by de-synchronization.
Note: KICKR HEADWIND saves only one Heart Rate Monitor and one Speed Sensor at a time (one for each mode) when using the direct pairing method. Speed sensors may include trainers, speed sensors, or combination sensors like the Wahoo Blue SC.
Other sensor types paired through the Wahoo app
When using multiple sensors paired through the Wahoo App, please follow these steps:
-
Confirming the sensor is awake
If possible, confirming the sensor is broadcasting data.
-
Opening the Wahoo App, navigating to the HEADWIND under Devices, navigating to Sensor Control and confirming the sensor is paired under that type.
If so, unpairing, powercycling the HEADWIND, re-pairing
If not, attempt to pair.
