Pair and Control HEADWIND with the Wahoo app

Pair KICKR HEADWIND with the Wahoo Fitness App for iOS or Android for important updates and fine-tuned controls, including new and improved multiple sensor control

Pair a HEADWIND to the Wahoo app

  1. With the KICKR HEADWIND plugged in and Bluetooth® enabled on your mobile device, open the Wahoo app.

  2. Navigate to the Devices tab.

  3. Select the + sign. Select KICKR for adding a HEADWIND.

  4. Select the HEADWIND from the list.

  5. The HEADWIND is paired.

Always Upgrade Firmware if available and follow the directions in the app for the newest features and best experience. For multiple sensor control, you will need to be on firmware version XXXXX or higher. 

Control a Headwind with the Wahoo app

  1. To control airflow, open the Devices tab and select the HEADWIND.

  2. Under Fan Control, the HEADWIND will default to Off, or whatever state it was in when turned on.  To manually control the HEADWIND in the app, select the Manage tab and manually adjust intensity using the slider.

    3. Select HR, Speed, core temperature, run pace or power for control from a heart rate monitor, speed sensor, core temperature reader, foto pod or trainer that has been paired to KICKR HEADWIND following these instructions.*

    *KICKR HEADWIND must be directly paired to a sensor to receive heart rate or speed data.
