Following firmware update 1.1.31, the Wahoo KICKR ROLLR supports power and resistance changes with a onboard power setting. This setting is meant for personal training and entertainment purposes, and will not be comparable to other sources equipped with a power meter.
Power values will be consistent from ride to ride if:
- The same bicycle is repeatedly used with the KICKR ROLLR
- Tire pressure remains consistent
- You pump up your rear tire to a specific PSI before every ride
For athletes requiring precision power values for racing and training with multiple devices, the KICKR ROLLR offers enhanced power accuracy through the On-Bike power feature, which utilizes power from an external power meter (SPEEDPLAY POWER pedals or another ANT+ power meter to transmit power and cadence data to a controlling app or device). For more information, see Pair a power meter to KICKR ROLLR (On-bike power).
Note: Due to the accuracy limitations of Onboard power, the acceptability of using virtual power in racing in the app is at the discretion of a given event's race directors.
Requirements
