- Live Track must be enabled in the Settings page of the ELEMNT App (as described below)
Setup
- Start by navigating to Settings and scrolling to the Live Track & Maps section to ensure Live Track is on.
- Once Live Track is enabled, you'll need to share the link for others to see your route and location. Select Share Live Track Link below the Live Track toggle, then choose the duration others can view your ride.
- After choosing a duration, you'll be prompted to share your link via text message, email, or another app.
You can also select SHARE AUTOMATICALLY to share your rides each time they're started via email. Also note that though Live Tracking is enabled and configured from the Settings page of the ELEMNT App, you can always share a Live Track Link quickly from the Workout page.
Troubleshooting
1. Confirm Live Track is setup and your ride conditions
Start by making sure Live Tracking is enabled and all requirements for live tracking are met by as defined above.
2. Check Spam:
Because Live Track emails are sent automatically, they often get flagged by spam filters. If you are unable to send or receive Live Track links via email, it has likely been moved to a spam folder. Additionally, if a recipient cannot find the email in spam, they may have unsubscribed from all emails from us (Wahoo) and so we are prevented from sending the email. Have them contact our support team to indicate they are not receiving LiveTrack emails and confirm if they have been added to an unsubscribe list and to be removed from it.

- Tap Background App Refresh to ensure it's enabled (at the top) and that ELEMNT is enabled in the list below.
