What is secure pairing?
A multi-step Bluetooth bonded pairing process between the trainer and your mobile device, intended to further secure the trainer and associated connected systems (eg. your Wi-Fi network) from digital intrusion.
The secure pairing steps appear during of the setup process, when a unit is first paired to the Wahoo app, and are required to enable network connectivity on secure connect equipped units. Failure to establish a secure connection on a secure pairing equipped unit will prevent the your from being able to connect the trainer, BIKE, or treadmill to a network via Wi-Fi or Direct Connect.
