While the Apple Watch cannot be used to display or record heart rate data in the Wahoo Fitness app, TICKR Heart Rate Monitors (including TICKR, TICKR X, and TICKR FIT) can be paired to an Apple Watch to provide more accurate heart rate data in the Apple Watch Workout app following the instructions below:
To pair the Apple Watch with your TICKR:
- Wake your TICKR by wearing it or touching the back terminals (for TICKR FIT, wake by pressing the power button) so that the lights begin to blink.
- On your Apple Watch, open the Settings app to the Bluetooth section.
- Select your TICKR when it appears under the Health Device* list
- To record a workout, open the Apple Watch Workout app, select your workout type, then tap Open Goal to begin the workout.
*If you don't see your TICKR under Health Devices, close the Settings screen on the Apple Watch and reopen it to update sensors. Please note that although the Apple Watch identifies TICKR Heart Rate Monitors as health devices, they are designed and tested exclusively as athletic products and are not intended for health monitoring or related applications.
