Your ELEMNT / BOLT / ROAM is able to pair to almost any Bluetooth or ANT+ sensor to provide additional data including:
- Power meters
- Heart rate monitors
- Speed sensors
- Cadence sensors
- Speed/Cadence sensors
- Muscle oxygen sensors
- Electronic Shifters
- ANT+ Radar sensors
Pairing directly on the ELEMNT / BOLT / ROAM
Your ELEMNT / BOLT / ROAM will pair directly with both Bluetooth and ANT+ sensors. For dual band sensors, the ELEMNT / BOLT / ROAM will select the preferred network automatically.
To pair a sensor:
- Start by pressing the left side button on the ELEMNT/BOLT/ROAM to access the settings menu.
- Use the down button on the right side of the ELEMNT to scroll to ADD SENSOR, then bring the sensor and ELEMNT near each other and press ADD by using the center button - the sensor with highest signal strength will be displayed.
- Select SAVE (using the center button) once the correct sensor displays. If an incorrect sensor is displayed, select BACK (using the left button), then ensure your sensor is awake and closest to your ELEMNT/BOLT/ROAM. Once certain (and still with ADD SENSOR highlighted), reselect ADD (using the center button) to search again, then SAVE (using the center button) once the correct sensor is shown.
- Choose YES or NO to add any associated data fields to your ELEMNT/BOLT/ROAM's pages.
Pairing using the ELEMNT App
The ELEMNT App can also be used to pair sensors.
To pair a sensor:
- Ensure your ELEMNT / BOLT / ROAM is paired to the ELEMNT app.
- On the Settings page of the ELEMNT app, select Set up sensors.
- Hold the device near the sensor and select the sensor based on signal strength, description, or ANT+ ID.
- Select Save sensor to confirm the pairing.
