Requirements
- A mobile device running the newest version of the ELEMNT app with an active WiFi internet connection
- An ELEMNT, BOLT 1/2, or ROAM1/2 computer actively paired with ELEMNT app on the mobile device
- The computer itself actively connected to a local saved Wi-Fi network.
Add, update, or delete Maps
From the Settings tab of the ELEMNT app you can add, update, or delete maps from different regions:
- Open the ELEMNT app on your mobile device
- Select the Settings tab.
- Select MANAGE MAPS
Making space for firmware downloads or other maps
The quickest way to make space is to delete a map region from a large country or US state with a robust road network that you do not intend to visit with your bike any time soon. Easy, high volume targets would be
- United States: California or Texas*
- North America: Canada or Mexico
- Europe: Spain, Sweden, or Switzerland*
- Asia: China or India*
- Oceania: Australia
*The United States, France, Germany, Japan, and the United Kingdom each have larger map files as countries, and for this reason they are subdivided by states, provinces. or regions within each country and so require more steps to delete the country.
