In addition to making a treadmill, bicycle trainers, computer, and sensors that are broadly interoperable with other sensors, computers, and apps, the Wahoo app also integrates with a large number of app partners in a variety of ways via the Wahoo Cloud.
Integrations
Integrations vary by app partner, but include:
- Import plans -- The ability to import structured workout plans for use on ELEMNT computers or in the Wahoo app workout player/recorder
- Import routes -- The ability to import/sync route libraries linked to an app partner account for use on ELEMNT computers.
- Import segments -- The ability to import Strava Live Segments linked to a Strava account for use on ELEMNT computers
- Import summaries -- The ability to import completed activity summaries from the third party app partner into the Wahoo activity history.
- Share summaries -- The ability to share completed activity summaries from the Wahoo app to the third party app partner app/service.
Authorization/connection type
How app partners' integrations are connected to the Wahoo app/your Wahoo account will differ by app partner. Some of the most popular app partners can be connected by authorizing their connection to the Wahoo app in Wahoo app settings. Others can be connected by linking your Wahoo account in the partner's app or web interface. This will differ by app partner.
Authorized in the Wahoo app
Some of the most popular apps can be authorized in the Wahoo app > Today > Settings > Authorized apps. For more details on the authorization process, see Authorize an app partner to sync routes, planned workouts, completed rides, or segments.
Authorized in the partner app / web interface
Other, mostly more newly connected apps / services are connected through the Wahoo Cloud API. To connect these apps / services to your Wahoo account, authorize your Wahoo account in the partner's app or web interface, using the email and password used to log in to the Wahoo app.
Because the authorization process will differ between app partners, we suggest reviewing the app partner's interface, support documentation, and consulting their support team for how best to connect your Wahoo account.

*Authorizing Xert in the Wahoo app allows you to share activities completed in the Wahoo ecosystem directly to Xert, including setting up auto-sharing. In order to import compatible planned structured workouts to be completed in the Wahoo app or ELEMNT computers, you must also connect your Wahoo account in the Xert app or web interface.
**Zwift can be authorized in the Wahoo app or SYSTM app to share calendared SYSTM workouts to Zwift and sync SYSTM workouts completed in Zwift back to the SYSTM calendar. For more details see Export Wahoo SYSTM planned workouts to Zwift.
Connecting your Wahoo/SYSTM account in Zwift will only sync completed activity summaries between apps.
