Wahoo SYSTM now supports the ability to sync calendared SYSTM cycling and running workouts to Zwift for completion in Zwift. Completed workouts are then synced back you to your Wahoo SYSTM calendar as a completed workout.
Requirements
- A paid Wahoo subscription (same as SYSTM subscription)
- A paid Zwift subscription
- Zwift authorized in the SYSTM or Wahoo app Authorized apps page as a connected app
- A workout scheduled in your SYSTM calendar in the next two days (today or tomorrow)
- The correct Zwift profile selected for the activity type you wish to complete
- Ride for cycling workouts or Run for running workouts.
Setup -- Authorize Zwift in SYSTM or the Wahoo app
- Navigate to the Authorized Apps section in SYSTM app.
- SYSTM > Settings > Authorized Apps

- Select Zwift to authorize the connection.
- Log in to Zwift with your Zwift credentials.
- Review and confirm authorization permissions.
- Once authorized, your planned Wahoo workouts will begin syncing to Zwift and completed workouts in Zwift will be imported into Wahoo.
Complete a Wahoo SYSTM workout in Zwift
- Open Zwift and view the workout(s) scheduled for today on the Home tab.
- You can also navigate to the Workouts tab and select Custom and then the Wahoo folder to see yesterday's and tomorrow's scheduled workouts.
- Select the workout and your desired route in Zwift and start the workout.
- Complete the workout in Zwift.
- The completed workout will automatically sync back to your Wahoo account and be marked as completed in your training plan.
- The planned workout will remain visible in Zwift until the following day. You can complete the workout again if you wish.
Deauthorize Zwift as a connected app in SYSTM or the Wahoo app
- Navigate to the Authorized Apps section in SYSTM (Settings > Authorized apps) or Wahoo app (Today > Profile > Authorized Apps).
- Select Zwift and then Disconnect.
- Future workouts will no longer sync to Zwift, and previously synced workouts will remain until their scheduled date passes (maximum 48 hours).
Deauthorize Wahoo/SYSTM as a connected app in Zwift
- Navigate to the Connections page in Zwift.
- Select Disconnect for the Wahoo connection.
- Future workouts will no longer sync to Zwift, and previously synced future workouts will be removed from Zwift.
FAQ
- In order to see a SYSTM workout in Zwift, your currently selected Zwift profile must match the SYSTM workout type (Ride for SYSTM cycling workouts, or Run for running workouts.)
- In order to see a SYSTM workout in Zwift, it must be on your calendar for yesterday, today, or tomorrow. You cannot randomly select a SYSTM workout from the library to be completed in Zwift. We are working to make this possible in the future. You can move a workout in your SYSTM calendar to today/tomorrow to make it available in Zwift.
- Cycling power targets for the rides in Zwift will match targets based on your Wahoo/SYSTM 4DP profile.
- Running pace targets for the runs in Zwift with match the pace zones set in your Wahoo fitness profile (if they exist). If not, the pace targets will be set relative to your 5K pace set in your Zwift profile.
- If you complete a planned workout scheduled for tomorrow today, it will be linked to the planned workout and moved to today in your calendar history. It will not be removed from the planned workouts folder in Zwift, but will disappear after 2 days.
- You cannot delete Wahoo/SYSTM planned workouts from the Zwift interface without deauthorizing Wahoo/SYSTM. See above.
