Product support definitions

Current, Discontinued, and Obsolete products

Current products

Wahoo products are considered current when currently available for sale directly by Wahoo. Current products have informational, hardware, and software support.

Discontinued products

Wahoo products are considered discontinued when no longer offered for sale directly by Wahoo.  Discontinued products may still be available from third party retailers.  Discontinued products have informational, hardware, and software support.

Obsolete products

Wahoo products are considered obsolete when hardware and/or software support is no longer available for that product. Related parts, adapters, and accessories are no longer available for obsolete products.  Obsolete products may still function within the Wahoo software ecosystem, but there is no active software support for those products. Functionality for obsolete products may change or cease at any time at Wahoo’s sole discretion.  Informational support for obsolete products may be limited.

Product support status

A Wahoo product’s support status is constituted by the three following categories separately: [1] informational support, [2] hardware support and [3] software/firmware support.

Informational support

Wahoo’s customer support team is always happy to assist with questions about your product, how it works, troubleshooting, etc.  In the case that you are not able to answer a question using the support documentation at support.wahoofitness.com, please contact our support team with questions.

Hardware support

Warranty support

The warranty support period for Wahoo products varies by product and region.  Please see the Warranty  page for your geographic region for full warranty details.  Where local laws and regulations provide greater protection, those will apply.

Out of Warranty support

Replacement or spare adapters and accessories

Many common product adapters or accessories may separately be available for sale at wahoofitness.com.

Parts and service documentation for serviceable products

Wahoo offers, for purchase, any available replacement device component parts and related service documentation for out of warranty products that Wahoo (or Wahoo-authorized service providers) actively services/repairs. Where local laws and regulations provide for longer periods than listed by this general policy, those will apply.

Parts, adapters, and accessories for non-serviceable products

A limited number of certain parts, adapters, or accessories for current or discontinued non-serviceable products may still be available for purchase, beyond those available for sale at wahoofitness.com.

Device software/firmware stability updates

Wahoo will provide software/firmware stability updates for products for at least 2 years from the last date of direct sale of that product.
