Can I use these power pedals for off-road cycling like gravel and MTBs?

  • No, off-road use is not recommended. POWRLINK ZERO pedals are specifically designed for road cycling.

 

How long does the battery last?

  •  75+ hours

 

What is the estimated POWRLINK ZERO charge time?

  • It takes about 1.5 hours to fully charge POWRLINK ZERO from 0 to 100%

 

What is the recommended voltage/amperage for the power block?

  • Standard USB charger, 5 volts
  • There is no concern with the type of charger used
  • There is no concern with the maximum amount of time POWRLINK ZERO pedals are connected to the charger. The pedals will stop charging when full.

 

Are POWRLINK ZERO power meters compatible with oval chainrings?

  • Yes. The pedals measure force in multiple directions, allowing for accurate measurement with the asymmetric forces presented by an oval ring.

 

What is the recommended maintenance for the POWRLINK ZERO?

  • Unlike past Speedplay Zero pedals, there is no maintenance required for POWRLINK ZERO
  • Do not attempt to disassemble, open, or otherwise manipulate any part of the pedals or housing - doing so will void the warranty.
  • You may find it easier to clip in and out of POWRLINK ZERO by applying a PTFE dry lubricant to the cleat spring.
