In addition to a variety of other alerts and notifications, ELEMNT ACE, BOLT 3, and ROAM 3 computer offer the option for custom text alerts accompanied with a beep. Custom alerts can be created to play a predetermined set of information values or custom text, triggered by different status changes. Custom alerts are within a given workout profile (Cycling, Indoor Cycling, whatever other custom workout profile you create) and apply only to that workout profile.
For more information about the workout profiles concept, see Customize workout profiles and pages for ELEMNT ACE, BOLT 3, or ROAM 3
For details on other alerts and notifications, see Alerts and Notifications on ELEMNT ACE, BOLT 3, or ROAM 3.

Use alerts
Once a custom alert has been set up for a workout profile and a ride has been started on that workout profile, alerts will appear as defined by the triggers and intervals that have been set up.
When an alert appears, it will remain until manually dismissed by using the Dismiss button. This will dismiss the current alert event. If a recurring alert has been set up, it will reappear when the next trigger condition is met.
To mute (temporarily disable) custom alerts for the remainder of that ride, you can select the Mute button. You can undo the muting by navigating on the computer to the Device Settings page and select Custom Alerts under Sounds.
Note: You cannot mute individual custom alerts. Muting custom alerts for the remainder of a ride will mute all custom alerts for that ride.
