What are planned workouts?
Planned Workouts are structured workouts that are part of a larger training plan that can be imported into and completed in the Wahoo app's workout player. Typically built on training plan sites such as Training Peaks or sourced from our SYSTM app, planned workouts usually involve a set of intervals with power, heart rate, rate of perceived exertion (RPE), or speed targets. When a stworkout is loaded,
Depending on the equipment you have (power meter, KICKR smart trainer/bike, etc) these workouts can be done indoors or outdoors (with the ELEMNT controlling the KICKR or KICKR BIKE). For more information about planned workouts on an ELEMNT computer, see Planned Workouts [ELEMNT]. For more information about planned workouts and ELEMNT RIVAL, see Planned Workouts on ELEMNT RIVAL.

Setup - Link your planned workout provider to your Wahoo account
In order to import planned workouts to your instance of the Wahoo app, you will first need to link your workout provider to your Wahoo account in the Wahoo app. How that is done will differ by provider.
SYSTM
Ensure you are using the same email address and password for both the SYSTM app and Wahoo app.
Training Peaks
- In the Wahoo app, navigate to Home > (Settings) > Authorized Apps > TrainingPeaks
- Enter your username and password for the service and log in.
- Confirm permissions.
Other 3rd party providers
Reach out to your planned workout provider for how to authorize your Wahoo account to consume their plans / structured workouts. You will need to use your Wahoo account email and password to link your Wahoo account in their app/web interface, not in any of our apps.
Sync your workouts
By using the same credentials for SYSTM/the Wahoo app, authorizing TrainingPeaks in the Wahoo app, or authorizing your Wahoo account in your preferred third party structured workout provider app/service, workouts scheduled for today and tomorrow are automatically added to the My plan section of the Home tab. Each workout's name, basic details and interval graphic, and scheduled day (today or tomorrow) is shown on the workout's card.
Load a workout
- Select the workout from the Home tab> My plan.
- Select Start now
- Confirm the [1] workout profile you want to use and [2] that the appropriate sensors are paired and showing data.
