Vibration and noise issues have have a variety of causes, some of which can be narrowed by when they are experienced. Does the noise occur?
When both pedaling and coasting?
Please contact our support team with
- a description of the issue you are experiencing
- the year, make, and model of your bike
- a 30 second video of your pedaling the bike for 15 seconds and then allowing it to coast.
-
Here are some tips for submitting the video in an email support ticket. If your video is larger than 50MB, you can upload the video to YouTube and provide the link in your ticket.
Our hardware team will review the video, confirm the cause of the noise, and provide feedback on next steps towards resolution.
In case of a hardware defect, for the quickest processing, please include the following in your reply:
-
A copy or screenshot of your original receipt with the purchase date visible
-
Your current shipping address
-
The best phone number to reach you
-
An image of the the serial number of your trainer (serial number location instructions).
Only when you pedal?
When you ride outside?
If you're experiencing the vibration or noise whenever you ride the bike, we can exclude the trainer as the cause, which means it is time to get a second opinion from a bike friend or your local bike shop about what the noise is, and if is something that needs to be addressed with your bike.
We are glad we could help you confirm your setup along the way.
