The bike frame has to be pushed outward to fit on the trainer. Are you...
Using the stock Shimano HG11 freehub body
Double check frame spacing, NDS adapter, and drive side spin cap.
The CORE is compatible 142mm and 148mm thru axle frames.
If the frame is being pushed outward in order to place the bike on the CORE --
- double check your frame spacing
- if using the 148mm non-drive side adapter (Adapter E), try the 142mm (Adapter D)
If you are already using the 142mm non-drive side adapter, your frame may not be compatible with the CORE.
Using the aftermarket XDR freehub body
Check XDR locknut
The CORE is compatible 142mm and 148mm thru axle frames.
The aftermarket Wahoo freehub body for XD/XDR cassettes uses a shorter freehub/axle locknut (10mm wide, shipped with the freehub body) than the one used with the stock Shimano HG11 freehub body (13.1mm wide), to account for the dimensions of the XDR freehub body.
If using the updated thru axle adapters, the locknut for the stock Shimano HG11 freehub body is 13.7mm wide. The XDR locknut is 10.5mm wide. If using the updated adapters, you must use the matching updated locknuts for proper hub/frame spacing.
If the frame is being pushed outward in order to place the bike on the CORE --
- double check your frame spacing
- if using the 148mm non-drive side adapter (Adapter E), try the 142mm (Adapter D)
If you are already using the 142mm non-drive side adapter, double check the depth of the axle locknut you have among your extra adapters and measure it (rather than remove the cassette to check).
