Correct adapter installation KICKR/CORE/MOVE [tsg]

1. Identify your rear wheel/bike frame's attachment type/spacing.

2. Confirm the installation from the list below.

Quick Release 130 mm

To mount a bicycle with 130mm quick release hub, you will need -

  • 8. Adapter A - drive side for 130/135mm quick release
  • 9. Adapter B - non-drive side reversible for 130/135 mm quick release
  • 14. Quick release skewer

  1. Remove the drive side acorn nut and spring from the quick release.
  2. Ensure the wider end of the non-drive side spring is facing the quick release lever.
  3. Note the difference in depth of Adapter B. Insert the wider side into the cavity in the non-drive (left) side of the CORE.
  4. Insert the quick release skewer into the non-drive (left) side of the trainer, through Adapter B and the trainer.
  5. Slide Adapter A over the quick release skewer, with the wider side facing inward toward the trainer into the axle in the drive side (right) of the CORE.
  6. Slide the remaining spring, narrower end first, over the quick release skewer.
  7. Thread the acorn nut, wide end first, onto the end of the quick release skewer.

  8. Shift your bicycle into the smallest chainring on your crankset and smallest cog* on your cassette.
*If using a Zwift Cog, shift into the middle of the cassette, 4 or 5 gears from your lowest/largest cog.
  9. Remove the rear wheel from your bicycle.
  10. Place the bicycle onto the CORE, aligning the chain with the smallest cog on the cassette*.
    *with the Zwift cog.
  11. Pro Tip -- Lift the front wheel up while pressing down on the saddle to ensure the bicycle is fully seated on the trainer.
  12. Secure your bicycle by tightening the

quick release nut and then closing the quick release lever, clamping the frame. The quick release lever is open when it curves away from the bicycle frame and closed when it curves toward the frame. The quick release lever is only secured when closing the lever in this method last -- NOT by closing and then threading the acorn nut.

CAUTION! Failure to properly tighten the quick release skewer may result in property damage or personal injury. If you are unsure of the proper tension, please consult your local bike shop or bicycle manufacturer for assistance. Do NOT ride the CORE until the quick release skewer is tightened.
