The Wahoo Protector is water and shock resistant. It has a IPX5 rating, which basically means you could hold it under a fire hose for three minutes without any leakage. We ride in all kinds of weather, so we made the Wahoo Protector for heavy duty riding in all kinds of weather. Just don't go swimming with it!
