RGT Closure
Wahoo’s mission is to “build the better athlete in all of us” through our world renowned KICKR smart trainers, ELEMNT bike computers, connected fitness products and Wahoo X software. Wahoo X includes the structured training app SYSTM (formerly The Sufferfest) and virtual cycling app RGT.
To deliver the very best experience for our valued customers, we have made the strategic decision to focus on our long-established strength in structured training content through SYSTM and will be closing RGT, effective October 31, 2023.
This shift in focus means our talented team's efforts, attention, and innovation will now be dedicated exclusively to our structured training content. Our vision for Wahoo X going forward is clear: to deliver the absolute best training software to help you become stronger, fitter, and faster, both on and off the bike.
There will be continued improvements to functionality and content to give you even better value, plus more immersive, integrated, structured workouts designed by world-class coaches using cutting-edge sports science to use indoors or outdoors - including cycling, yoga, strength & mobility, running, swimming, and mental training.
- Users will have access to the RGT app platform as usual until October 31st, 2023.
- The SYSTM app platform is unaffected by the closure.
- Completed summary ride data will be accessible via the Wahoo app for iOS or Android, or the SYSTM app using your Wahoo X account credentials.
- Any workout data associated with your use of Wahoo X, including RGT workouts, will be maintained by Wahoo according to Wahoo’s Privacy Policy. You can exercise your rights to download, delete, or restrict the use of your data at any time by submitting a request here.
- Paid members of Wahoo X as of October 2nd, have been sent an offer via email for a complimentary subscription of Zwift for a defined period, relative to their current subscription term. Please check your email inbox and spam filter for the subject: Changes to your Wahoo X Membership in October 2023.

FAQ - RGT questions
Can I still use the RGT app after October 31, if I have it downloaded?
Because the RGT servers used to run the service will no longer be functioning, the app will no longer function after October 31st.
What will happen to my RGT data?
Any summary data related to activities you have completed in the RGT app have been updated to the Wahoo Cloud and will be retained on your Wahoo activity history, accessible through the Wahoo or SYSTM apps. .FIT files from recorded rides can be downloaded from user.rgtcycling.com until October 31st.
All other data, including uploaded Magic Roads, workouts, and event information and results will be deleted upon the closure of RGT. The data can be accessed through October 31, but there is no mechanism for downloading Magic Roads, workout files, or event results.

FAQ - Wahoo X Subscriptions
What will happen to my Wahoo X subscription?
The Wahoo X/SYSTM subscription will remain unchanged. SYSTM will continue to provide sports science led structured training to deliver the absolute best training software to help you become stronger, fitter, and faster, both on and off the bike and our team will be working with renewed focus to further improve and expand existing functionality and content.

I didn’t receive my Zwift coupon
Please double check the inbox, promotions tab, and spam filter of the email address used with your paid membership to Wahoo X. If you still can't find it, please reach out to our support team and provide your name and the email address linked to your paid Wahoo X membership, and we are happy to assist.
My Zwift coupon doesn’t work
Please note that:
- In order to redeem your complimentary months of Zwift, you must first login or create an account (and enter credit card information) before entering the coupon code provided via email. Your card will not be charged until after the complimentary period has ended.
- You must activate your code on Zwift.com— codes cannot be activated through the Apple store. If you are a subscriber through Apple, click here for instructions on how to activate your code.
If you are receiving an error with the code, please take a screenshot of the error and reach out to our support team with the screenshot of the error, the code you are trying to use, your name, and the email addresses which you use for Wahoo X and Zwift.
