Does my ELEMNT need to be connected to WiFi to sync Strava Segments?

Yes, the ELEMNT must be connected to a WiFi network. WiFi connectivity can be configured for the ELEMNT using the companion app for iOS and Android. Power on your ELEMNT and open the companion app. The ELEMNT should already be paired to your iOS or Android device. If not, please see the instructions on how to pair your ELEMNT and smartphone. Next, select the Settings page in the companion app. Select WiFi Network. On the WiFi page, make sure the WiFi switch is toggled on. If you are already connected to a WiFi network, the name of the network will appear with a check mark next to it. If there are no networks with a check mark, then select the network you want to connect to and enter the WiFi password. The ELEMNT should provide a confirmation message that it has connected to the WiFi network.
